Hello My Creative Thinkers,
This month is Black History Month. As we celebrate the rich culture of African American history in this country, I want to reflect on my experiences as an African American in America and as a woman business owner in America.
This country has a long history of abuse towards women of color. As a dark-skinned woman in this country, I have suffered my fair share of hostilities and atrocities as a citizen. To find out my thoughts on celebrating Black History Month in America, read my article on PATREON.
In other news, SAJATA-E Design Studios is doing its part to stop the spread of this pandemic. We have halted our in-person shopping and disinfected all equipment, tools, and shared spaces in our studio. As we fight this virus, we ask you to do your part by wearing your mask in public and picking up packages from us in the studio. We run a paperless studio, so your receipt will be sent via text message. Temperature checks are made at the door for all our guests, and you must be triple vaccinated to work with us in the studio. Thank you for your support as we beat this virus.
In Solidarity,
SAJATA-E Design Studios
